BELFOR UK is currently seeking an experienced, professional painter/decorator with a proven track record to join its Reconstruction Team in the Northampton area.

Working with Contract Managers and Restoration Technicians as part of an innovative ‘end to end’ property restoration solution, this role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and experienced operational team. Working on residential and commercial SME losses you will complete reactive repair works following damages such a fire and flood as well as planned maintenance, all to a high specification with excellent customer service at customers properties.  Works will cover all disciplines of the trade including paper hanging.

Successful candidates will have a passion for detail and quality workmanship, be experienced in working in occupied and void properties and be able to work on their own and as part of a team. They will also need to ensure all Quality and Health & Safety processes and procedures are followed as part of the role.  Effective communications and the ability to work with and liaise with the customer, other BELFOR operational teams and various claim stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective services are provided, is a vital aspect of the role.

Successful candidates will also be flexible and adaptable, ideally with experience of working within the insurance claims industry. A full current driving license is essential and NVQ’s or similar qualifications in relevant trades, and CSCS Cardholders would be desirable.
