BELFOR Ireland are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support its growth and development in the country.

Working with the Operational Teams the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for maintaining existing relationships with key clients and the development of new business in Ireland.  Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining a good understanding of the commercial insurance marketplace including claims strategy and supply chain management for Insurers, Loss Adjusters and Brokers.
  • Maintaining a detailed understanding of designated client accounts and prospective clients, ensuring all relevant information is maintained and updated.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the company's products and services, competitors and relevant organisations.
  • Actively pursue business opportunities within existing and prospective clients and customers.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for designated client accounts ensuring all job enquires, new instructions, general queries, information requests and complaints are responded to an handled effectively in line with contractual frameworks, client expectations and requirements.
  • Maximise contract revenue by ensuring clients are fully aware of new products and services.
  • Assistance with the development and implementation of new products and services where required.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all areas of the business, specifically within the Major & Complex Loss Operational and Service Centre departments.
  • Work in close conjunction and assist the BELFOR Marketing department with relevant marketing activities and events and provide regular client feedback.

Ideal candidates will have existing relationship/account management and business development experience within the Irish Insurance market and will posses the following core skills:

  • Customer service and service delivery focused
  • Accurate/good attention to detail
  • Confident, positive and direct

Candidates should also be prepared to travel nationally with flexible working hours and occasional overnight stays where necessary and should hold a current driving licence.
