BELFOR Sarnia Sponsors Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser 
BELFOR Sarnia helped sponsor the local Sarnia-Lambton Chapter fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Canada in late September. The CF fundraiser was held in a grocery store parking lot in Brights Grove. A local insurance agent contacted BELFOR to donate some supplies for the event, and the Sarnia office gathered all the supplies they had: tents, tables, chairs and trash cans. The event raised $32,000 for CF Canada.
BELFOR Sarnia Walks For The Cure
BELFOR Sarnia joined Gamble Insurance to create a team called “Gambelfor a Cure” to participate in the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The team captains were Lucy Tranter from BELFOR and Tara Palominos from Gamble Insurance. The event was held June 15-16 at Sarnia’s Clearwater Arena Park. It was a 12-hour walk with 87 teams. The BELFOR-Gamble team raised over $6,000. The total raised by all teams was $310,000.
