Precision Equipment Restoration

To prevent further damage to robots and precision machining equipment, BELFOR Korea first implemented corrosion prevention and humidity control using specialized chemicals and protective materials.
The equipment was then carefully disassembled and cleaned. Components that could not be properly restored on site were transported to BELFOR Korea’s workshop, where precision restoration work was carried out in a controlled environment.

Building and Facility Restoration

Restoration work began following a structural safety assessment.
Because the facility combined production equipment with shared areas such as training facilities and accommodation, particular attention was given to restoring interiors, fixtures, and furnishings without leaving residual contamination.
Mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and communication works were carried out in parallel to shorten the overall restoration period. After construction was completed, the systems were fully commissioned to verify performance, followed by final removal of any remaining contaminants.
