BELFOR Sacramento has restored the historic, fire-ravaged McHenry Mansion. The Modesto landmark is the only surviving original Victorian home in the city. Built in 1883, the historic house is not only a local treasure but also a popular destination for tours and catered functions.
During one phase of the exterior work, moldings were carefully removed and salvaged for reproduction. It was a slow, painstaking process. The reproduced woodwork had to be cut, tooled and replaced to look like the pieces originally installed in the late 1800’s.
