Planting for the future

Playing our part to support reforestation at the Forest of Marston Vale
Recently, we had the opportunity to join clients and partners for a meaningful day of tree planting at the Forest of Marston Vale. Together, we planted 400 new seedlings – small but important contributions to one of the UK’s most ambitious regeneration projects. The initiative was delivered in partnership with Neutral Carbon Zone and reflects our ongoing commitment to responsible, sustainable business practices.
The Forest of Marston Vale is an established regeneration project focused on creating new woodland and improving the local landscape. Taking part in this initiative reflects our commitment to acting responsibly and supporting the communities we work in. As a restoration company, we see environmental stewardship as part of operating thoughtfully and contributing positively wherever we can.
While planting trees is only one small element of a much broader sustainability journey, it offers something powerful: a tangible way to bring our values to life. The act itself is symbolic – a moment to pause, reconnect with the environment, and take part in something that physically represents renewal.
Planting 400 seedlings allowed us to contribute to the wider woodland‑creation efforts taking place at the Forest of Marston Vale. We were pleased to support the project and be involved in a practical activity that aligns with our values and the way we approach responsible business.
The planting day gave us the chance to spend time with colleagues, clients, and partners in a different setting. With support from Neutral Carbon Zone, we worked together throughout the day and had the opportunity to connect outside of our usual environments.
We were pleased to be joined by representatives from Protector Insurance UK, Zurich Insurance, Frontier Insurance Solutions Ltd, Edge Group, and Rozone. It was a positive and collaborative experience. Their enthusiasm and willingness to get involved made a real difference – so a huge thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to make the day such a success.
At BELFOR UK, restoration is about more than buildings. It’s about protecting communities, supporting the environment, and acting responsibly as an industry leader. Taking part in initiatives like this is one of the many ways we put our values into action – a small but meaningful contribution to the places where we live and work.
