Hale Library at Kansas State University suffered extensive damage to its structure and contents after an accidental fire on the roof. \u201cTo be honest it was pretty devastating,\u201d Dean Goetsch told Brady Baumann of KMAN. \u201cIt was heartbreaking to see the amount of damage. In order to enter the library, we of course put on hard hats. We had to put boots on because the water was up to our ankles. \u2026 It was really sad. You know, I\u2019ve been here for 14 years, and Hale \u2026 feels like home. \u2026 And it was like seeing your home damaged.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
