On 7 September 2024, Typhoon Yagi struck Hai Phong City, Vietnam with severe wind and heavy rainfall, causing widespread disruption. Wayne Vietnam, a major textile manufacturing facility, was directly impacted. The typhoon damaged the factory\u2019s roof, allowing rainwater to enter and affect vital operations. Power was lost, and approximately 100 knitting and embroidery machines were exposed to moisture, putting the business at serious risk of prolonged downtime and financial losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Response<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Power was swiftly restored through rapid dehumidification efforts, preventing further deterioration of electrical systems. Critical knitting and embroidery machinery was successfully recovered through thorough on-site decontamination, eliminating the need for costly replacements. The recovery was completed within just 1.5 months, well ahead of the expectations of Mr. Hiroshi Muneha, General Director, allowing the business to resume operations in a remarkably short time. Downtime was significantly reduced and Mr. Muneha personally commended the team for their efficiency and professionalism, expressing strong satisfaction with the overall outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
