Dear Sir or Madam,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further to our previous communication regarding the cyber incident affecting BELFOR Asia and its subsidiaries, we would like to provide you with an update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of our response measures, we have successfully migrated our infrastructure to a new IT environment, which is certified in accordance with ISO 27001 and meets high security standards. This environment as well as communication with us through this new system is safe and secure. All our email accounts are now fully operational within the new setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The relevant authorities in the affected Asian countries have been informed. At the same time, the investigation into the extent of the incident continues. The analysis of the volume and categories of the stolen data is ongoing and supported by external experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please share this information with the appropriate responsibles in your organisation to make sure that all information obligation are fulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigations supported by external specialists have confirmed that the incident is contained to BELFOR Asia and subsidiaries. There is no impact on our business operations or client data in Europe or the United States or Canada. This means that any potentially affected customer data relates solely to BELFOR Asia and its subsidiaries in Asia. At this stage, we have no indication that customer information or business data outside Asia has been affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure the highest possible level of security for all parties involved, we are closely monitoring all systems and carefully reviewing incoming communications. As a result, communication by email may currently take longer than usual. These measures are intentional and in your best interest to maintain a secure communication environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as we have more detailed information regarding potentially affected data, we will contact any impacted clients directly on a one\u2011to\u2011one basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
