The fire scorched approximately 48,000 hectares\u2014an area equivalent to nearly 67,000 football fields.<br \/><br \/>What remains now are charred mountains, collapsed rooftops, and fields of ash. Though the flames have been extinguished, the days that follow remain a painful and arduous journey. For many residents, life has come to a halt. Businesses and institutions face the harsh reality of suspended operations. The road back to normal life is proving to be far slower and more complicated than anyone expected.     <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>In response to the widespread devastation, the government has announced plans to allocate a supplementary budget of 10 trillion KRW to support recovery efforts and stabilize livelihoods.
