Document and Data Recovery

Contamination due to dust, water damage, a fire, an explosion, a computer crash or even a virus all mean that essential information may be lost. The unexpected happens and your records and data are gone. Will files be readable again? How can books be dried out? Can backup copies be saved? As one of the world’s leading companies in rescuing documentation and data BELFOR can help you.

When documents get wet
Water damaged documents can be restored. Our new generation of vacuum freeze dryers, and thermal vacuum freeze dryers are specifically designed for books, documents and paper materials. Often, by using these processes, no further restoration is required after drying is completed. Our technicians successfully restore a wide range of materials and delicate paper items from single documents to entire libraries and water damaged collections. Thanks to BELFOR’s technical processes it is difficult to distinguish the difference between a restored file and an undamaged file.

Lost data can be recovered
BELFOR has teamed up with IBAS, the leading providers of data recovery services throughout the world. More than twenty years of experience, competent engineers and comprehensive know-how, mean you are putting the recovery of your data in safe hands. IBAS develops proprietary in-house hardware and software in order to ensure the best possible results. All the activities related to data recovery, computer forensics and quality assurance of data erasure are carried out in clean rooms. Exclusive patented technology makes it possible to read individual platters from a hard disk in analogue form and then convert the data back into digitally readable files.
